map is reprinted from the 1879 Atlas of Plymouth County, Massachusetts (MA) by George H. Walker. It shows what roads and houses were in existence in 1879. The initials and surname of the each head of household are marked at their house locations. This new map measures 13½ inches wide by 16 inches high.
In 1853 Lakeville split off from Middleboro, MA.  It had been the southwestern portion of Middleboro.
