To preserve the unique warmth of the vinyl sound, the Duo phono preamplifier has been carefully designed with a state-of-the-art switch mode power supply and a new surface mounted circuit board layout to reduce unwanted noise.

Due to the low-level signals created by a turntable, not all hi-fi amplifiers will let you connect directly to a record player. The phono preamplifier boosts this signal to something a power amplifier can work with. The challenge at this stage though is that noise can easily be added.
This is why we’ve designed the Duo around exceptional components that deliver the warm and detailed sound that’s synonymous with vinyl, all without distorting the signal from your moving magnet cartridge turntable. The switch mode power supply improves performance by switching outside of audible frequency to drastically reduce hum and new circuit board layout uses surface-mount components to reduce noise.

Enjoy the warmth of vinyl privately thanks to Duo’s integrated headphone output. Uniquely, we integrated a 6.35mm headphone jack directly into the phono stage, so you can still enjoy your records when there’s no option to play out loud.
The integrated headphone output also means no need to turn on your amplifier just to power your headphones, resulting in a more eco-friendly listening experience.
ATTENTION TO DETAIL
If some records in your collection are a little worse for wear, the subsonic filter will help to eliminate low frequency rumbles that can be caused by imperfections within your vinyl. Combine this with the balance control for handling potential cartridge imbalances in your record player (that can cause a difference between the left and right channels) and the result is a detailed experience with accurate soundstage.
ECO FRIENDLY
The Duo phono preamplifier is green at heart with less than half a watt standby power consumption and auto power down feature if the unit isn’t used after a 20 minute period. This in turn gives the unit the same worldwide voltage for compatibility wherever you are in the world.

Delivery is Free and it should take 2-7 business days for the product to reach your destination.
We try our best to keep to that, but all delivery times are approximate.

If it takes any longer than 10 days to receive your product we advise you to contact us in order to resolve this issue.
Return Policy
At Cambridge Audio we stand behind the quality of our goods. Our shipments are carefully inspected and packed before leaving our warehouse, but if you are not satisfied with your purchase, please take note of the following return policy:

If you’re unhappy with your purchase, please let us know. Unless faulty, we’d like this to be within 30 days of purchase and It’s important that any unwanted item, unless faulty, is returned in a re-saleable condition. We’d expect this to mean that you’ve kept all original packaging and labels, and that it’s undamaged and unused.
We’ll require an explanation for the return (defective, damaged, etc). Don’t be surprised if we ask you some pretty detailed questions about the reason for your return. Hearing first-hand what our customers are experiencing will enable us to provide you with the best possible service.
Returns will not be accepted without a Return Authorization #, or RMA# which must be obtained by phone or email. An RA must be obtained within 30 days of the purchase, and Cambridge Audio must receive the package within 15 days of issuing the RA. Note that after 30 days all sales are final. Please write your RA# on the outside of the shipping box (not the product box). Failure to do this will delay the processing of your return. Your return package must include the following: a copy of your invoice, a note detailing the reason for the return, all original packing materials, including cables, power supplies, instructions, remote controls, warranty cards, etc. Your package must arrive in resalable condition. If these instructions are not followed your return may not be accepted.
If your return package is deemed acceptable after inspection, Cambridge Audio will refund the purchase price of the returned item. Cambridge Audio will absorb the shipping costs only in the case of defective merchandise. Please note that if defective merchandise proves to be non-defective upon inspection, or if Cambridge Audio otherwise determines the customer is exercising chronic abuse of the return policy, the customer will be charged a re-stocking fee at Cambridge Audio’s discretion. Cambridge Audio also reserves the right to impose a re-stocking fee at our discretion for any returned item that is damaged, cosmetically dinged or returned missing accessories. Any and all packages that are refused delivery and sent back to Cambridge Audio without an RMA number will not be refunded the initial shipping charge and a restocking fee will be added to the return.
We strongly recommend sending your return package via UPS or FedEx so it can be insured and tracked (this is especially important with heavy, fragile, and more expensive items). If a return is sent via US Mail, then the customer accepts all responsibility if the package is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. Cambridge Audio is not liable for any uninsured packages.
In case the product arrives damaged or there is an error in the shipping (e.g. wrong item) you will not be responsible for the return shipping costs.
For any other reasons, buyer is responsible for partial or full return shipping fees.
Cambridge Audio C Stock Warranty
This warranty will only be valid if the product is used in the country in which it was sold. Cambridge Audio does not honor warranties for C-stock products taken overseas due to voltage issues, certification concerns, and possible transit damage.
Cambridge Audio offers a limited warranty for products sold as “C-stock, Factory Refurbished, or Open Box” to be free from defects in materials, unless otherwise stated in the product description, and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. During this period, Cambridge Audio. will repair or replace, at our option, this product or any defective parts.
This Warranty is only valid for the original purchaser and will automatically terminate prior to expiration if this product is sold or otherwise transferred to another party. The product must be purchased from Cambridge Audio or the warranty is void.
Cambridge Audio does not honor warranties for B-stock products taken overseas due to voltage issues, certification concerns, and possible transit damage.
